SCQF Ambassadors Gold Award
We are delighted to announce that we have recieved the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) Ambassador Gold Award. The SCQF School Ambassador programme offers schools the opportunity to learn more about the benefits of the SCQF and the wider ways in which it supports learners such as recognising wider achievement, developing Senior Phase learning pathways in line with the Developing the Young Workforce strategy and giving equality between vocational and academic qualifications.
The successful award submission has been the result of the outstanding work by our SCQF Ambassadors who are senior young people and Mrs Keane (Principal Teacher of Raising Attainment).
The group provided evidence for five key areas:
- Whole school approach
- Pupil awareness
- Parental engagement & understanding
- Pathway development & progression/Curriculum offer
- Development of external relationships
The awarding body have recognised that SCQF is embedded in our school and we offer a significant range of senior phase pathways.
