St Andrew’s Secondary School was formed in 1969 under the care of the Society of Mary (Marist Brothers) and led by the first head teacher, Brother John Ogilvie.
The unique mission of a Marist school was to form young people in the image of Christ by blending three distinct traditions: the pursuit of academic excellence, the heritage of Catholic education, and the spirit of the Society of Mary.
Today, our school strives to be true to the aims, mission and ethos of our origins but, include all young people regardless of background.
